These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Leaves mobile application ("Leaves", "the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Leaves you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Leaves is a personal photo-diary application that lets you record memories, view them on a timeline, and design photobooks that can be printed and shipped through our third-party print partner.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Leaves, or older where required by local law. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. Notify us at hello@leavesphotojournal.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain all rights to the photos, text, and other content you upload. You grant Leaves a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you (rendering your timeline, generating photobook PDFs, transmitting photobooks to our print partner for fulfilment).
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that infringes another person's rights, is unlawful, or violates these Terms.
Leaves requires an active subscription to use. Current pricing, available subscription periods, and any free-trial terms are shown in the app's subscription screen and on the App Store listing — those surfaces are the source of truth and may change over time.
Subscriptions are processed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the end of any applicable trial period and at each renewal interval. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS). No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
Photobook printing and shipping is provided by Peecho B.V. ("Peecho"). When you order a photobook, you enter into a separate transaction with Peecho, who acts as the merchant of record. Payment for prints, applicable taxes, and shipping is handled by Peecho on their checkout. Peecho's terms and refund policy apply to the print transaction; Leaves is not a party to that contract.
You agree not to (i) upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; (ii) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app; (iii) use the service to harass or harm others; (iv) attempt to circumvent the subscription paywall.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app; when you do, your content and personal data are deleted from our systems immediately and permanently, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you have a print order still in progress, deletion is held until that order is delivered or cancelled. Tax and invoice records for any orders are held by our print and payment partners (Peecho and Apple) under their own legal obligations.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Leaves be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
